Guilherme Ribeiro
Pianist, keyboardist, accordionist, and composer with a degree in classical piano from the conservatory, Conservatório Pio XII of the Sacred Heart University of Bauru (São Paulo), and a degree in Popular Music from the University of Campinas, UNICAMP. He studied with Hilton Valente (Gogô), Bebeto Von Beutner and Amilton Godoy. Guilherme has played beside: Vinícius Dorin, Duda Neves, Léa Freire, Teco Cardoso, Celso Pixinga, Hector Costita, Oswaldinho do Acordeon, Herivelton Silva, Roberto Menescal, Bob Wyatt, Robertinho Silva, Nenê, Céu, Mariana Aydar, Bocato, Vanessa da Mata, Fabiana Cozza, Dominguinhos, Maria Alcina, Moraes Moreira, Humberto Teixeira, Tom Zé, Luiz Melodia, Marcos Valle, João Bosco, Nelson Faria, Arnaldo Antunes, and Dona Ivone Lara, to name a few. He was the pianist for the group, SoundScape Big Band Jazz for four years. Currently, among the other projects Guilherme is involved with, he is a member of singer Céu’s group. He is professor of piano, accordion, counterpoint, and ensemble practice at the conservatory Souza Lima Berklee.
